Start with the intended use
A name is only the beginning. Check whether a product is for the face, body, scalp or hair lengths. The description explains its place in a routine; the directions tell you how the manufacturer intends it to be used.
Read the ingredient list
The ingredients tab shows the ingredient information available for that product. Compare it with the packaging you receive, especially when avoiding a particular ingredient. Packaging is the final reference if a formula or label has changed.
Check quantity and price
Compare the pack size as well as the price. A 30 ml cream and a 50 ml oil serve different purposes, so price alone does not tell you which belongs in your routine. Where variants are offered, select the exact option before adding it to your cart.
Keep directions close
Read the precautions, storage information and period-after-opening symbol on the container. Keep the label or leaflet with the product. For devices, use the device details and the supplied operating manual rather than cosmetic instructions.
